- Lynnn-Marie Angus of Sisters Sage was nominated for Indigenous Entrepreneur of the Year as part of the Canadian National Business Awards 2022.
- Ocean Legacy Foundation opened a new Ocean Plastic Depot in partnership with the Regional District of Mount Waddington, providing essential infrastructure to divert plastics from landfills and reduce ocean pollution. Chek News also featured the announcement in a video.

- Better Packaging Co. was featured in a list by Hunter & Folk on objects locally designed in Aotearoa New Zealand.
- Kiri Nathan’s fashion was featured in a piece on street style in Aoteaora.
- AWWA was featured on TrendHunter for their AWWA Teens line, created to support girls through their first menstrual cycles.
United Kingdom
- City to Sea founder Natalie Fée was quoted in a study that found microplastics used in packaging and paint present in human veins: “We know that microplastics have a toxic effect on our oceans, negatively impacting global nutrient cycles and oxygen levels, and it stands to reason there may be similar toxic effects in human bodies.
- City to Sea has welcomed their new ‘Sea-EO’, Harriet Bosnell. “I am over the moon to be joining City to Sea. We’re at the forefront of bringing about change that tackles plastic pollution at source. But I know that systemic change only happens when multiple stakeholders come together.”

- Pandia Health was featured in Mill City Times for their work to offer stress-free birth control services via telemedicine.
- Solstice is working with the statewide program Illinois Solar for All (ILSFA) to spread the benefits of low-cost, renewable energy to income-eligible Illinois residents. The projects will deliver enough renewable energy to power an estimated 1,200 homes.
