There are infinite ways to be here

There are infinite ways to be here

Some people bring ventures for us to steward together. Some wait to see where they might be helpful. Some start one way, then flow in a different direction altogether. Many meet who and what they didn't even know they needed.

The expansion of possibility

Most people arrive because someone they trust sent them. You join, discover the futures you want to help steward, and together we decide where to flow our collective resources.

An introduction becomes a customer. A question changes a business model. A conversation reveals something you couldn’t have imagined alone.

And then the possibilities start multiplying.

How we practice together

“The future isn’t something you announce. It’s something you practice in day-to-day action.” Anastasia Mourogova-Millin

Welcome

October

The community greets new and returning people. Some arrive with futures already in motion. All arrive carrying something useful: capital, customers, experience, questions, attention.

Recognize

November

We meet the people and the possibilities behind the ventures. We notice the direction the work is travelling and what it makes possible for others. We read, ask, vote.

Resource & Steward

Dec–Sept and beyond

Money, relationships, experience, and care begin to move toward what each venture needs. People in the community gather in large and small groups. Needs change as ventures grow, so we stay close.

A Field Guide to Creating New Futures is how we steward the future together

A Field Guide to Creating New Futures is how we steward the future together

This guide gathers what this community has learned about moving resources without reproducing harm: how to ask, how to offer, how to stay when it gets uncomfortable, how to repair. It's written in stories rather than rules, because that's how what matters actually gets passed on.

The field guide is ready for you to freely explore. If something in it resonates, that's the invitation.

Coralus is a self-organizing global community that continuously reimagines self and systems. Since 2015, we have worked to flow resources freely toward a world where everyone thrives.

As a global organization, Coralus resides on the traditional territories of many nations. We acknowledge the Indigenous peoples who are traditional stewards of the land where our headquarters reside: the Wendat, the Anishinaabe Nation, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and the Métis Nation. Indigenous wisdom is the pathway home to a life-sustaining society. We work alongside our Indigenous siblings, elders past, present + future, globally, to transform systems on behalf of a better world.
